There is NO rebecca! What is everyone talking about!?!

I called AGP and they said there is no plans for any doll names rebecca! THey said "That would be ELizabeth"

My understanding is that AG has Copyrighted/Trademarked the name Rebecca or Rebakah (can't remember which). I think this is what sparked the discussion that there would someday be a Rebecca doll.

AG copyrights names for future dolls. Rebecca is copyrighted. It is not something customer service would know about, They are involved in selling product that is currently available, not in product that is being developed for the future.

There are trademarks for Rebecca and Rebekah on the United States Patent website.

I replied to you in the other thread, don't know why you felt the need to say the same thing in 2 different places.

Rebecca has been copyrighted, they may or may not make her. I don't think anyone knows anymore than that they at least plan(ned) to make her.

They've filled copyrights for loads of other dolls who were never made.

Look it up, it's fun to see what they once planned to do. (There appears to have once been an *idea* to make an American Boy line, even!)

And calm down. There's no need to be acusatory just because the AG customer service reps had no idea what you were talking about. [img]wink.gif[/img]
